ICICI adds fees on gaming, wallet loads and big transport spends; revises DCC

ICICI charges 2% on skill-gaming platforms, 1% on wallet loads of ₹5,000 or more, and 1% on transport-category transactions above ₹50,000. DCC markups were revised to 3.5% on most cards, 2% on Emeralde variants, 1.99% on Amazon Pay and 0.99% on MakeMyTrip Travel.

Applies across ICICI Bank's credit cards.

  ICICI caps rewards on transport spends

  Transport-category spends (rail, local transit, bus and tolls) now earn points only on the first ₹20,000 a month on Rubyx, Sapphiro and Emeralde, and ₹10,000 on Coral, Platinum and other cards. Emeralde Metal also stopped earning on government, fuel, rent, tax and wallet spends, and HPCL Super Saver insurance rewards are capped at ₹40,000 of spend.
