Amex India pauses Travel With Points redemptions

The Travel With Points option, which let cardmembers redeem Membership Rewards on the Amex Travel Online platform, was temporarily paused. Amex told cardmembers by email in December 2025.

  Live From A Lounge reports, from cardmember emails, that from 11 October 2026 each proprietary Amex card's Membership Rewards balance will be kept separately, with no transfers between cards. Amex India hasn't published this on its website, and its current Membership Rewards terms still allow linking cards to pool points.
